Many of our models, like the LUX, are designed to be incredibly thin, with only 1/2 inch (12mm) between the mirror and the wall. If the power supply were integrated behind the mirror, the thickness could increase to 1.5 inches or even up to 2½ inches (70mm), compromising the mirror's sleek, elegant appearance.
2. Waterproofing and Safety:
Integrated power supplies are not waterproof. Exposure to moisture, water, or condensation could lead to damage or electrical issues. By using an external power supply, we eliminate this risk, ensuring the safety and durability of our mirrors, especially in bathroom environments.
3. Heat Dissipation and Durability:
Power supplies generate heat during operation. When attached directly to the mirror, this heat can cause damage to the mirror’s silver coating over time, leading to unsightly spots or deterioration. Our external power supply solution helps to preserve the mirror’s quality for many years.
